A private web app for a weekly business referral group. Members log referrals, closed business and one-to-ones themselves, leadership records each meeting on one screen, and the chapter attendance policy is applied automatically.

The project
What we did
SBN is a business referral group that meets every week. We built a private web app where members log their own referrals, closed business and one-to-ones, and where leadership records each meeting's attendance, visitors and activity on a single screen.
The app also applies the chapter's attendance policy on its own. Absences are counted over a rolling six months, with a late arrival counting as half, and members get an automatic reminder email the morning after the meeting at their second and third absence. Emails and text-message sign-in codes are sent through Brevo™, and the dashboard charts use Google® Charts.

A member directory with a profile card for each business and tap-to-call phone links.

Members update their own business details and password.

Members can sign in with their phone number and a one-time code.

Meeting entry
One screen records every member's attendance, referrals, one-to-ones, visitors and closed business, with live totals.
Attendance types
Present, absent, late, medical and substitute, and past meetings can be reopened and corrected.
Visitor tracking
Visitors each member brings are recorded and totaled.
Door prize draw
Rewards members who enter their own referrals, with one entry per meeting period and a cooldown for recent winners.
Substitute list
A private roster of fill-ins for absent members, with tap-to-call numbers.
Attendance policy
The chapter's rules, applied automatically.
Absence counting
Absences are counted over a rolling six months, a late arrival counts as half, and substitutes and medical absences don't count.
Automatic reminders
Members get an email at their second and third absence, sent once, the morning after the meeting.
Notice controls
Leadership can pause all notices or opt out a single business, and inactive members are never counted.
Attendance page
Leadership see absence statistics and when each member was last sent a notice.
Chapter admin
Reports
Date-range reports per business with chapter totals, showing the measures leadership choose.
Roles
Separate member and leadership roles, so members can only edit their own entries and menus change by role.
